Case Study

Automated First Notice of Loss

A mid size European multi-line insurer running on a legacy core insurance platform approached omni:us to relieve his claims team from tedious manual tasks.

The challenge was that the insurer employed a team of close to 40 people near-shore doing nothing else than creating claims files. This process was not only expensive but also error prone and slowly. During phases of increased volumes (e.g. after natural catastrophes) the process was even further delayed and error prone.

Within three months the omni:us platform was deployed, the FNOL component implemented, an RPA solution deployed and end of 2021 the automated claims file creation went live. Based upon this experience the customer decided to use omni:us E2E for the full straight through automation of the entire P&C claims LOB.
