Last week, omni:us reached a milestone.

To stand as an elite company, not just in cutting-edge technology, but in rigorous standards and quality assurance, is crucial to our future outlook. To this end, I’m very proud to announce that we received the ISO 27001 certification last week.

“Using this family of standards will help your organization manage the security of assets,” explains the ISO, “such as financial information, intellectual property, employee details or information entrusted to you by third parties.”

Given our data-heavy role working closely with insurance companies (which means a lot of sensitive data), we thought it imperative to implement a comprehensive information security management system (ISMS).

ISO 27001 ensures products and services are safe, reliable and of good quality. It improves internal efficiency by structuring information and processes, while employees adhere to strict policies of information security.

We see ISO 27001 compliance as another step to our goal of epitomizing the data-driven company of the future. This means not just talking about offering data security and efficiency, but putting it into everyday practice internally, across the board.

It will help omni:us ensure that products and services consistently meet customers’ requirements, and that quality is consistently improved. ISO 27001 is an international standard. Achieving it is a signal of our determination to embody quality in all aspects of omni:us’ technology and business.
